Regional Sales Representative Role
Location: Remote — Eastern or Southeastern U.S.

Rayhil is a fast-growing architectural-lighting manufacturer known for design-forward products and white-glove service. With 24 rep agencies already under agreement, we’re scaling quickly and need a true road warrior to turn that groundwork into revenue.
Position Overview
You’ll own face-to-face growth across your region—championing Rayhil at rep offices, job sites, design studios, trade shows, and every lunch-and-learn in between. If you love airports, architects, and closing POs, this is your seat.
Key Responsibilities
Joint calls with agency reps & key specifiers/distributors
Hands-on product demos and trainings
Representation at regional & national trade shows and IES/IALD events
High-impact client engagements (dinners, CEUs, site walk-throughs)
Identification of new agency or major-account gaps in underserved markets
Market intel feedback to leadership and real-time territory strategy tweaks
Territory Coverage
New England: ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, RI
Mid-Atlantic: NJ, PA, DE, MD, DC
Southeast: VA, WV, NC, SC, GA, FL
South Central: AL, MS, LA, AR, TN
(NY excluded; boundaries may flex with performance and opportunity)
Who You Are
Self-starter who thrives on travel & relationship selling
Equally comfortable with technical specs and people chemistry
Proven at trainings, demos, and C-suite conversations
Organized, data-minded, fiercely accountable
Lighting / design-build / B2B capital-goods background strongly preferred
Compensation & Perks
Component | Details |

Base Salary | $125,000 annual (paid semi-monthly) |
Commission | 6 % on invoiced sales up to quota 8 % on every dollar over quota |
Annual Revenue Quota | $5 million (prorated for your start year) |
Upside | Uncapped — earn at 8 % with no ceiling |
OTE @ 100 % | ≈ $425 k (base + commission) |
Benefits | PTO, full travel reimbursements, laptop & CRM, product sample kit |
Growth Path | Success tracks to Director of National Accounts or Regional VP as territories split |
